A reinvention of the earlier Rest EP, now with additional influences of african polyrhythms, rumbling bass synths, neoclassical harmonies, and distant screeching post-rock guitars.

The Winter Improvisations Project
2013, Surrey, UK
Seven tracks that are the product of an attempt to limit the glowing temptations of post-production. For the first seven days of the year I recorded, mixed and shared a piano improvisation. An exercise in acknowledging and sharing the unique quirks of playing as if alone, and enjoying the resonances and harmonic voicings present in the acoustics.
